06/19/2013– WATTS VILLAGE THEATER COMPANY LAUNCHES CROWD FUNDING CAMPAIGN

Los Angeles, CA – June 27, 2012 – The Watts Village Theater Company (WVTC) in an effort to raise $15,000 to provide next years 2013 Animo Locke Watts student school production has launched a crowd funding campaign through Razoo.com. The crowd-funding concept has been successfully used by independent filmmakers, musicians, micro businesses, and now a non-profit multi-cultural theater company in Watts for LA’s youth. Watts Village Theater Company has a $7000 company match through the Department of Cultural Affairs. The campaign will end on August 27 at 12:00 am.

Since 1996, Watts Village Theater Company has been a leader in providing acting and theatrical performance workshops for underserved youth in Watts and South Los Angeles.
